The School Library provides information and ideas that are fundamental to functioning successfully in today’s information and knowledge-based society. An active school library program makes significant difference to student's learning outcomes. The school library is a key place for our students to develop inquiry & research skills, critical thinking, literary skills, and a positive attitude towards reading.

YIS has a spacious library sprawling an area of 320 sq.mtrs, with a diverse range of books for all ages which includes reference books, encyclopedias, story books, magazines, periodicals, newspapers, CD-ROMS, DVDs and VCDs.

Attached to the library is a reading room for the staff and students. Currently we have 20 periodicals , 05 dailies, 3573 reference books , 20 magazines and 5055 other types of books in our library.

We continually augment our library with new arrivals to keep our students updated with the latest developments in every field.
