The Indus Heritage Club at YIS endeavours to inculcate a feeling of pride and love for the rich cultural legacy left behind by our ancestors. The main objectives of Indus Heritage Club are
- To promote social and environmental awareness among the members.
- To inculcate the feeling of constructive nationalism among the members.
- To encourage the members to take active part in social service and
- To promote secular feeling and socialistic and democratic principles among all Indians.
The club makes its presence felt by conducting Quizzes, celebrating National festivals and creating awareness among students on importance and preservation of National monuments, organizing heritage walks, travelogue writing, collage making, group discussion on current and social issues and publishing annual journal “The Indus”.
