The Literary Club of Yara International School is comprised of five sub-clubs. They are as follows:
- OASIS ENGLISH CLUB
- MANAS HINDI CLUB
- NIRAKKOOTTU MALAYALAM CLUB
- OQAB URDU CLUB
- ANNAHLA ARABIC CLUB
These clubs assist in enhancing the multifaceted talents of the learners on all fronts. The aims and objectives of these clubs are;
- To inculcate reading habit in students.
- To encourage them to read age-appropriate books.
- Instill flair for language.
- To develop communication and presentation skills.
- To know about the cultural festivals and its specialties.
- To promote literary tastes.
- To develop creative writing.
The members of the Literary Club conduct activities for their club such as Book Reviews, Story Telling, Language Games, Debating, Story Writing, Word Antakshari, Qiraat competition, Translation of Hadees, Elocution, Ganalapanam:Nadanpattukal, Nadankaliroopangal and preparation of bulletin boards.
The club activities are overseen by six mentors catering to all language areas.
